Pool Rules

The pool is for Fosters Mill Village residents and guests to enjoy.  There are detailed POOL RULES posted on the pool bulletin for your safety and the safety of others.  PLEASE READ THEM!  The rules cover such things as when children can be at the pool without a parent (children ages 10 through 12 years of age who pass a simple swimming test), how many people are allowed on the diving board at one time, etc.  The pool lifeguards will help by answering your questions, blowing their whistle, talking to anyone not familiar with the rules, and showing you where the rules are posted.  There is a phone at the pool which is available for use by patrons; however, please keep any calls short.  We have a very good safety record at the pool.  In order to keep our good record intact, please help out by encouraging your children to WALK in the pool area, keep the entry gate closed and latched, and to follow all of the posted POOL RULES.

The pool lifeguards are there for safety, not clean up.  If you take food or drinks (no glass containers) to the pool, please clean up when you are done.  If you have young children, please keep a close eye on them for safety's sake and "when nature calls" use our restrooms so we do not have to close the pool for water quality reasons.

Please adhere to all rules for your safety and enjoyment.  Always follow the rules as posted at the pool.

No person may use the pool unless it is officially open to the public with lifeguards on duty or approval by the Board of Directors for use at another time has been granted.
